Leadership Training Camp
Proven Experience Leading Elite Teams. See How Intrepid Makes a Difference In Your Organization.
What To Expect:
Intrepid's Leadership Camp teaches you to handle stress under pressure through "stress inoculation". Using paintball as a training tool, our clients are taught map and compass skills, tactical combat casualty care, and how to "shoot move and communicate" using basic patrolling skills. Once the basics are mastered, the teams are tasked with "missions" for them to plan and execute. During the patrols, clients practice "casualty care" under fire during "man-down" drills, team accountability when under duress, and how to make quick decisions and confidently deal with the consequences of their decisions. At times it is intense, but it is always rewarding and intended to build confidence and increase your leadership and decision making skills during difficult times. The training also includes Leadership Reaction Course events...obstacles and challenges the team must solve and overcome in a short period of time; campfire discussions on ethics and service; and professional readings to challenge your thought process. Clients will all take the Gallup Strengthsfinder Personality Assessment test and receive personal feedback from Dr Eric Buller, a certified Strengthsfinder coach and Intrepid's Executive Associate. Meanwhile, all of the training takes place under the guidance and supervision of retired special operators and veterans dedicated to passing along the lessons they've learned in combat and down range. The entire team is engaging and totally dedicated to helping each client maximize their potential. This is the Intrepid Way.
Who can benefit from Intrepid Leadership Training?
In this picture, Dr Eric Buller, the Director of the Harry T. Wilks Leadership Institute at Miami (OH) University, breaks down each participant's results from the Gallup Strengthfinders Assessment tool to teach them how to excel in and out of the board room by focusing on what they do best.
Wrestlers from the Air Force Academy's summer Intensive Wrestling Camp participate in a team building activity designed to challenge their understanding of the importance of developing a strong "base" as part of pursuing their goals.
Intrepid conducted a staff ride of the Gettysburg National Military Park to discuss leadership lessons with special operators prior to a deployment.
Kurt Buller, a graduate of the Air Force Academy, tells these wrestlers about his Special Operations experience and how important his teammates were to him when they were deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq together. He uses his combat experience to inspire others to appreciate our great country and seek ways to serve their community.
